4DO 1.3.2.3 Released!

fourdo-admin September 29, 2013 8 Comments

A few basic improvements for the File Browser utility.

Changes:

  1. Fixed file extraction – File extraction from the file browser was not functioning because of a missing DLL from the released 1.3.2.2 files.
  2. File browser tweaks – Users can now cancel copy operations, and basic progress indicators have been added.

It amazes me how much this emulator continues to improve! Great job all around!

Could you put scanlines in the emulator? I think the output video will look better! Others filters will be good too…

Filters WOULD be nice, but I think I speak for everyone when I say it’s best to focus on the few games that don’t still work quite right, such as Crash ‘n Burn. No reason to get sidetracked.

Hey man, Crash’n Burn is already emulated in Fourdo! The majority of good 3DO games also are supported by this emulator… I think scanlines are not to difficult to implement! Sorry for my awfull english, I’m brazillian…

I dunno, I still get lots of skipping audio when I try to play it. Could be the quality of my dump, though.

And hey, no worries about the English, you were easy enough to understand. 🙂

But yeah, the emulator’s really good, and some additional goodies would be nice, but max compatibility is always preferred.

Has anyone been able to successfully finish Phoenix 3 on the emulator. I get past the first spaceflight duel but cant get the jumpgate to activate. Frustrating as.
